Burlesque

First in a series of Burlesque outfits. Metal spiral boned corset in silk and lace with tie-side frilly knickers and net bustle. Topped off with lace and silk skullcap with black feather and merry widow veiling bow. There are "pasties" to match! Now all I need is a model. Any offers?

My day job...

When I'm not making fully clothed monster politicians or felt characters I have a day job designing and making bespoke silk wedding dresses under the name Beatrice Eve. A few months ago I did a fashion shoot with Agan Photography in the beautiful Thornton Manor. Here's a few of the photos. More can be seen on my Flickr site. Many thanks to the models - Angi, Sarah C, Sarah M and Simone.

Groyle Romps Home!

And the winner is... Leonard Groyle by a landslide (which, incidentally, is what his cousin causes over in British Columbia). Second was Scruntin and coming third was Lady Grunk. When asked about his success Groyle told the press "feug aiufeiyf figeff geyfgf y qifahcdkjaf if aefheufaf cksjac afuiahf!!!!!!!!!!!!". He's a "man" of few words.

Thanks everybody for voting.

Yay! I'm on Drawn!

When I went on Flickr this morning I discovered I had quite a few nice, new contacts. I then discovered I'd been featured on Drawn! thanks to Mr Will Kane. I've not posted many pictures lately, this is because I can't post what I'm working on at the moment as it's a collaboration with another artist (sorry Jonathan, I've been unfaithful!).

I've posted an old photo of a felt Hellboy I made as a birthday present for the aforementioned Will Kane about seven years ago.

Thanks again, Will. All we need now is an exhibition so any galleries out there interested just "holla back" (please! Don't make me beg).

Candidate Number 2

Another candidate for the Behemoth-On-Sea By Elections. It's really hard making a bespoke suit for a beast with no neck or shoulder line!

Monster Politician

First of the candidates for the Behemoth-on-sea elections based on a sketch by the lovely Mr E. Got a bit carried away with the clothes. His trousers have a proper fly and his jacket has working pockets. As a child I hated dolls whose clothes couldn't be removed because they were either glued or sewn on so all his clothes have proper fastenings too. Jonathan made me stop as I was about to make him some y-fronts (although I may still make them). I'm working on the next candidate now.
