Felt Mistress X Hello,Brute

I was honoured to be asked by Jon Knox (Hello, Brute) to collaborate with him on some characters for his solo show "Teen Dream" at Rotofugi in Chicago. I'd been an admirer of Jon's work for a while and felt an affinity with him as someone who also worked on handmade pieces, I also love his attention to detail with regards clothing. If you are not familiar with Jon's work you should be! go check out his website. He's one talented guy.
I produced three characters for the show Dillon, Jeffrey and Pepper, and definitely want to work on more in the future ( we have discussed some great ideas, just need a few more hours in the day!) The show runs until the 25th April if you're in the area go check it out.

Dillon, Jeffrey and Pepper can be bought here

Wow, aren't they fantastic! The attention to detail, as always, is superb and so are the expressions (I take it they're surly teens?). How you make such perfect facsimiles, right down to conveying the character, is beyond me. The artist must be thrilled.

you are a felt genius :)
There's so much character in these, and they translate Jon's work wonderfully.
