I'm a little late blogging this as it was officially announced last week but I'm very excited about the release of an "art of" Felt Mistress book through the lovely people at Blank Slate. Designed and edited by the brilliant Woodrow Phoenix it's a 400 page hardback book with over 1500 photographs, character information, original sketches by Jonathan and interviews with the artists I've been lucky enough to collaborate with - including Jon Burgerman, Pete Fowler, Ben Newman, Jon Knox and Nobrow. The book will debut at Thought Bubble in Leeds on November 17th followed by a launch party in London in December (details soon). Pre-orders are available now and until August 1st it's at a special price of £26.99 (normally £29.99).

The exciting news doesn't end there for as well as the book I'm excited to announce that the brilliant Crazylabel have also produced a limited Blank Slate exclusive edition vinyl toy of the one and only Tippy Winkles. Limited to just 250 this is available as a special edition bundle along with the book. All preorders of either option have the chance to win the "Felt Ticket". Rishikesh George for Gallery Nucleus

Foyles Workshop

I'm teaching a monster making workshop on the 30th June at Foyles, (Charing Cross Rd London) places are limited and tickets are available here. Its going to be a fun fun fun. Hopefully see you there!

Hey! Who's This Guy? Revealed

The show opened on Thursday at Nobrow. It was a great night, I had so much fun. Thanks again to everyone involved and everyone who came,and everyone who helped to promote it with blog posts and Tweets, and all my lovely friends for their support and to Kirk Originals for supplying some amazing eyewear for the pieces and to the guys at Nobrow for being great hosts.

The show runs until the 23rd June so you still have time to catch it but for those who can't make it here's some photos,(almost forgot thanks to Dan Berry for the pre show photo shoot) You can buy a printed concertina with the "Hey!Who's This Guy?" characters on is available HERE.

Hey! Who's This Guy? Starts This Week

Our show at Nobrow opens this week starting with the private view Thursday evening. Everyone is welcome so if you are free pop along and be sure to say hello. Felt Mistress x Ben Newman

I'm off to Berlin on Wednesday to Pictoplasma. I have worked with the lovely Ben Newman on some big felt masks for his show there. If you in Berlin this week be sure to check out his show and all the other cool work that's part of Pictoplasma. Ben's show opens this Wednesday (11th April) at Berlin Weekly with the private view that evening from around 7pm. See you there.
