Felt Mistress X Hello,Brute

I was honoured to be asked by Jon Knox (Hello, Brute) to collaborate with him on some characters for his solo show "Teen Dream" at Rotofugi in Chicago. I'd been an admirer of Jon's work for a while and felt an affinity with him as someone who also worked on handmade pieces, I also love his attention to detail with regards clothing.If you are not familiar with Jon's work you should be! go check out his website. He's one talented guy.
I produced three characters for the show Dillon, Jeffrey and Pepper, and definitely want to work on more in the future ( we have discussed some great ideas, just need a few more hours in the day!) The show runs until the 25th April if you're in the area go check it out.

The "Hello, Brute - Teen Dream" show opened last night at Rotofugi in Chicago. I can't wait to see some photos from the actual show. In the meantime here's a process shot of Dillon's head. I'll be posting finished pictures on Monday.

The Wendigos

These two hairy boys were made for my dear friend, none other than, Mr John "Scary-Go-Round" Allison (ANOTHER John!). The Wendigo is a character from John's online comic. Check it out here and maybe even buy a tea towel featuring the Wendigo.
